TimeGate can connect in real time to a range of biometric scanners , RFID and multicard time and attendance devices to provide cost effective solutions for multi-staff sites.

Innovise supports a range of Time and Attendance biometric scanners /  software devices which are installed on customer sites and use a GPRS connection (though some can be TCP/IP if required) to the TimeGate databases. Data is passed back to the databases in real time.

How it works

 
Biometric scanners are particularly effective in situations where larger numbers of staff operate from a single location - typically more than 20 staff, or where the identity of staff is of paramount importance.
 
Each staff member records fingerprint IDs for identification. These are held as a encrypted files within the device. The fingerscan units are wall mounted and powered using a standard wall socket. Attendance data collected on the fingerprint unit is sent to the TimeGate and Servicetrac time and attendance software platforms using the latest in mobile 'push' technology.
 

Enrolling staff on the fingerprint unit is quick and simple. The unit scans the employee's fingerprint and converts the image into a number which is stored on the unit. This is referred to as the user's template. To clock in or out the employee enters their unique PIN and simply places their finger on the unit.

 
The finger is scanned and compared with algorithm templates already stored on units to irrefutably verify the correct operative has clocked in or out.
 

Real time Time and Attendance

 
Time and attendance software systems of old were slow, cumbersome and generally a lot of hassle. As they improved to be real time they often required a business to invest in lots of wires, computers and hardware generally. This is because they all need to be connected so if someone clocks in, the "system" would know and handle the information accordingly.
 
Innovise provide all of this, but can do it all wirelessly (except for a power socket!). Using your existing PCs and internet access, our clocks and software work together with biometric scanners to produce real time time and attendance biometric solutions without the need to wire them together. As such, time and attendance boxes have become 'plug & play' giving great flexibility and ease of deployment to our clients.
