The University Hospital of Wales is one the largest hospitals in the country. With over 1000 beds and over 13,500 staff, the hospital provides health care services for over half a million people in Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, and surrounding areas. Immense in its size, the hospital is equally as big in demand from the many people who rely on its services.
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust was formed in April 2000 by the merger of three former acute hospital trusts in Lincolnshire. Creating one of the largest trusts in the country, it provides a comprehensive range of services to the people of Lincolnshire. Operating from eight hospital sites, the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust cares for an estimated 686,200 patients per annum and employs approximately 7,000 staff.
Part of the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Lincoln County Hospital is part of a separate four site trust that is responsible for non-clinical support services.
